Day 17: Inspired by Mark 12:31
A devotional and prayer for when you struggle loving others.
Devotional: I have something important to share with you, my child. I know I said the greatest commandment is to love God, but right after that is to love your neighbor as yourself. This isn't just about the person living next door; it's about everyone you encounter. This isn't always easy, but it's the kind of love that can change the world, one heart at a time. It's not just about saying it; it's about showing it—like how I showed you love. So, lend a hand, smile, or listen when someone needs to talk. When you do this, you're walking in my footsteps. Today, and every day, choose to love. It’s the best way to make your soul shine. Inspired by Mark 12:31
Prayer: Dear God, thank you for showing me the true meaning of love through Jesus. Help me to be more like him, to see people the way you see them, and to love my neighbors better every day. Open my heart to understand that every act of kindness echoes in eternity and that by loving others, I’m also showing my love for you. Equip me with the courage to step out of my comfort zone and be the hands and feet of Jesus to those around me. In Jesus name, amen.
