Day 8: Inspired by Matthew 5:14-16

A devotional and prayer for when you're feeling lost.

Devotional: You are more than just another face in the crowd; you are the light of the world. I've placed a unique light within you, not to be hidden away but to shine brightly for all to see. When life's challenges make you feel like dimming your light, remember that your light is needed most during the darkest times. Let your light shine before others, not for your glory, so they may see the good you do and glorify your Father in Heaven. Don't be afraid to shine, for your light reveals the path to me. Keep your light shining brightly, my child, to bring glory to your Heavenly Father. Inspired by Matthew 5:14-16

Prayer: Dear God, thank you for making me a light in this dark world, designed to shine for your glory. Give me the courage to let my light shine, especially in the darkest corners where it’s needed most. Help me always point the way back to you so others may come to know your love and glorify it. In Jesus name, amen.
